Caleb Joshua Ostler
Well our little man has officially arrived! My water broke at about 6:30 AM on Tuesday, so we hurried and packed our bags and headed to the hospital. The nurse started me on Pitocin and we were off and running! (Those of you who would like a more detailed account of the whole experience I would love to share, but I won't get into the nitty gritty here) I got to 10 cm and started to push and thats where it got interesting. My doctor had told me I had a small pelvic outlet and told me it would be difficult for me to deliver over an 8 pound baby...and boy was he right! I pushed for 2 hours before our little boy came into the world weighing in at 9 pounds 7 ounces! He is such a chunk, and although biased because he is my offspring, is probably one of the cutest things I have ever seen in my life! Josh and I just stare at him all day and just laugh at how cute he is when he cries. I am sure that will wear off soon, but we just can't get enough of our boy!

Welcome to the world Caleb! Bless your mother's heart for giving birth to your 9lb 7oz lovliness. Annie- you're wonderful and hang in there. Those first mommy weeks can be a lot. But he is super cute and I'm glad you're enjoying every ounce of him.
