TV Land

Josh and I have been married for over 9 months, and being the poor students that we are, the last thing we could afford was TV. Then COMCAST came out with an incredible deal... only $10 a month for basic channels with a few extras:) We figured we could part with $10 a month in order to stay up with what's going on in the world. We are sad to say that we missed the majority of the Olympics, but the past few days have been great watching some of the events! I guess I always took TV for granted, because having it back the past few days has been so enjoyable!

Park City Engagement

It is hard to believe, but a year ago from today Josh and I got engaged! To say I was completely oblivious to what was going on would be an understatement. Obviously we were getting married because that very morning we met with a wedding planner at the Joseph Smith building, but I had no idea Josh had talked with my parents, so I wasn't expecting anything. I thought I would know when it happened because my mom tells me everything, but she was a good actor and I didn't suspect anything :) We drove up to Park City and walked along Main Street, got some ice cream and rode the trolley. Then we went on the roller coaster type thing by the Alpine Slide and then Josh suggested we go on the ski lift up to the top of the mountain. Again, I was completely unaware of anything that was going on (and meanwhile I am thinking Josh is nuts for spending like $20 a person to ride a ski lift). We get to the top of the mountain and we started walking along this path, when all of the sudden I saw this blanket set up with lots of rose petals everywhere, and I immediately turned to Josh and whispered "oh my gosh we are interrupting someone's picnic...let's get out of here!" You are probably thinking I am an idiot, and I totally was because I wasn't expecting anything. He grabbed my hand and took me over to the blanket and we sat down and starting talking and then he asked me to be with him forever! Ah, what a sweetheart :) Meanwhile, Josh's parents were in the bushes taking pictures, which I am glad of because we have the whole thing documented! We talked for a while, and then we rode down the ski lift to where both sets of our parents were waiting and then we went out to dinner. It is so weird to think that was a year ago!

Busy Busy

Wow... it has been a long time since we have posted. Our apartment manager job has kept us extremely busy, and I can't wait for school to start just so we have everyone moved in and the craziness will die off.
Josh really likes his new job at Bearnson & Peck law firm. He is a runner, so basically he gets to run errands and make lots of copies all day. I think he is really enjoying it though and is learning a lot.
I am finally done with summer school and I am grateful to have made it out alive! Summer school is way intense and I wasn't a huge fan, but I got some classes out of the way that I needed to, so that is all that matters.
Other than that we haven't really been doing much that is "blog worthy" :(
The picture above is ugly, but is of my new BROWN hair, which is a huge change for me! I have been blonde my entire life, so everytime I look in the mirror I hardly recognize myself! I also cut off about 10 inches, so that was also a bit of a change. I was ready for a change and my new hair makes me feel more mature :) Hopefully we will be doing some fun things in the next few weeks, so our blog isn't so boring!
