Well, it was a sad week around our house because both of our fish, Jacque and Kenneth, went to a better place. Fish are actually hard pets...you think everything is fine and dandy and then you come home from work and they are floating at the top of the tank. We will be venturing out this week to get a new one because the tank is pretty nice and we don't want to waste it. Hopefully the new fish lives more than a month!

Oh that is so sad! Your christmas presents!! Glad you guys are doing well other than that! :) How is YW's going?!
We killed SO many goldfish in college. We just couldn't keep them alive.
I bought my girls each a Beta a year ago and those things won't die!!!
Uh oh. R.I.P little fishy!! It's true, how do you know that your fish is sick? or about to die? Good luck with the next little guy.
Sorry to hear about your little fish. I too hope the next ones will last longer. Hey how is that new calling of yours coming along? I am sure those girls love you!
Oh no! Yeah - you ought to try a Beta. Ghandi is living proof that they are near impossible to kill. :)
Try Beta fish...we have had ours for 2 1/2 years. We have named him "Herman the Hearty" He's survived starvation, a hurricane, traveling across the country in a drink bottle, and last--but not least--my two year old! Good luck!
Thank you for not posting pictures of the dead fish. :-) How are you doing? Hope YW's is going good, have you had or planning New Beginnings?
Be brave and tough because it's sad to watch fish after fish go and you just don't know what you are doing wrong. I can't believe we've made it this long already as parents. Rob and I have given up on the fish thing after so many have gone to a better place. Poor things! GOOD LUCK!
