Our good friends, Brandon and Sydney Elwood, invited us to go up to Park City to see the Freestyle Aerial Skiing Championships. I have never been to anything like this before and it was a blast! Even though I was completely decked out in all of my snow gear, it was still FREEZING. We love just hanging out with Brandon and Syd... they are such great "couple friends" :)
Fun little road trip!
We had to walk up a huge hill to get to the event and I pretty much thought I was going to have a heart attack because I had so many layers on I could barely move. Josh referred to me as the "little boy from Christmas Story" :)
We didn't get to see anyone ski down the moguls, but they looked awesome

Chicken Cordon Blue Pasta
1 Can Alfredo Sauce ( you can buy this at the store or make it from scratch... it's faster from the store)
1-2 Garlic cloves
Pepper
1 Dry Italian seasoning packet
Mushrooms
Olive Oil
Green Onion (finely chopped)
Chicken breasts ( Thin Slices)
Bacon
Mozzarella cheese
Penna Pasta
on the oven you should have:
1 Skillet to saute mushrooms and chicken
1 Sauce Pan for the Alfredo sauce
1 Sauce Pan for the Pasta
Pre Heat oven to 375
Heat the Alfredo sauce and add the garlic, pepper and green onion to taste.
Saute the mushrooms and chicken with a little olive oil and dry Italian dressing.
Cook the bacon in the microwave and break it up into small pieces.
Combine the Alfredo sauce, chicken and mushrooms if you want or add them on top later
In a 9x13 pan combine the pasta and the Alfredo sauce. Then sprinkle the bacon and mozzarella cheese on top.
Bake until the cheese bubbles and starts to brown.
Foccacia Bread
Mozzarella Cheese
English muffins
Butter
Garlic Powder
Crushed red pepper
Combine the butter and garlic powder to taste
Spread butter mixture on both halves of muffin
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on each half of the English muffin
Add just a dash of crushed red pepper
Bake at 375 with the pasta or broil in the oven cheese sides up until the cheese starts to melt
then place the English muffin halves together and continue baking until just a little crisp.
It's not really an exact science we kinda made it up but it tastes pretty close.
